Paraskevi Trifyllis

Paraskevi’s research areas include social and emotional wellbeing, migration and identity, language teaching, as well as religious and spiritual movements in Modern Greece. Her working experience involves people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, refugees, migrants, cultural and/or religious minorities, and people living with chronic mental health issues.

Along with her private practice as counsellor and psychotherapist, she has been working for the New South Wales government funded Family and Carer Mental Health Program in Sydney local health district, supporting carers and families of people living with mental health issues through psychoeducation and advocacy. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney.
