Media Professional:
Victor Nkindi is the Founder and Senior Consultant at Hooza Media, a pioneering tech & digital media in Africa.

Under his leadership, Hooza Media has gained significant recognition, including being listed in the 2019 Forbes Africa Top 10 to Watch. It was also honoured as an ITU Virtual Digital World 2020 SME Awards nominee in the E-Health category, highlighting its Mobile Governance solution that bridges the digital divide in last-mile communities. Its early success was further bolstered when it became one of the first African startups to receive seed capital from the Tony Elumelu Foundation in 2015.

Hooza Media is based in Kigali, Rwanda, with regional offices in Dar Es Salam and Dakar and operates in 20 countries in Africa + Haiti.

Youth Empowerment:
Victor's dedication to youth is evident through his leadership in the EBCR Youth Professional Network. This initiative not only bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical business skills but also empowers young entrepreneurs to thrive in Rwanda’s evolving market landscape.

As part of the Biotech Master’s program at the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Université de Grenoble and Université Libre de Bruxelles, Victor Nkindi leads the Entrepreneurship module, guiding students in transforming their academic research into viable business ventures. Through structured milestones, he mentors students in identifying social and commercial challenges, developing innovative biotech solutions, and refining business models tailored to Rwanda’s and regional market. His role involves equipping them with entrepreneurial skills, from market analysis and customer validation to sales strategies and investor readiness, ensuring their projects transition successfully from the classroom to the commercial landscape.

Cultural and International Engagement:
His engagement extends beyond business into cultural and international relations. Victor's activities, from attending high-profile events, influencing policy makers, reflect his role as a cultural ambassador, enhancing Rwanda's image globally.

He currently serves as a Board Director and the Deputy Treasurer at the Union Alfm (Anciens des Lycées Français dans le Monde), based in Paris, France and as the Vice President of France Alumni Rwanda (Alumni of Rwandan students in France) where he leverages his extensive network to strengthen solidarity and professional opportunities.

These two associations are relays of influence and opinion for France in Rwanda.
